Application Outsourcing

laptop.jpgToday, successful businesses need a reliable communication system to provide the foundation for growth and new business opportunities. Business owners and manager alike must develop an infrastructure to support growth and demands of today’s economy.

Switching one’s focus to sustain your business structure can cause revenue-generating opportunities to slip through your fingers, while ignoring crucial internal systems and concentrating on new business does not present a solution either.

How can you balance the time and the money to build and maintain your business?

Outsourcing has become a staple of business in the current economy. OnApps provides complete groupware solutions for small and mid-size businesses. By outsourcing business processes, such as groupware and e-mail systems, you’re allowing your team to focus on their core competencies and new business development.
If 60 percent of your time and resources are spent on generating revenue and 40 percent of your resources are spent on maintaining your business (maintaining servers, scheduling meetings, reporting expenses, tracking opportunities), imagine your business if you put 90 or 100 percent of your time and resources into driving your business.
How many times has an employee’s PC crashed along with the data and with no current backup or, become infected with a virus rendering the application(s) useless. Putting desktop applications on a secure well maintained server, eliminates these local issues. With Terminal Services, if a PC fails, the user goes to another PC, logs-in and continues to work—the application software and the data are safely stored on the server.

What can kind of applications can be hosted?

Microsoft Exchange and plain email are the most often hosted applications. However, virtually any Windows PC application (e.g. QuickBooks, Word, Excel) to be run from a server in OnApps’ data center with the PC at the client’s location. The application (e.g. desktop screen, keyboard, mouse, printers) works just like it does when installed on the desktop, but all of the overhead (i.e. headaches) including security, virus protection, file storage, backup etc is transferred from the user’s PC to OnApps’ high-performance servers.
No only common desktop applications, but Line-of-Business and support applications such as supply chain, construction, and logistics. Some of the applications hosted by OnApps include MAS90 (accounting), TMV (logistics), and Foundation (construction).
